Growing up, I was enchanted by the tales of "National Velvet" and "Black Beauty," yet my only real encounters with horses were the brief, thrilling pony rides at local fairs. At 19, an unexpected opportunity arose to ride a trail horse at a resort where I worked. What I didn't know was that this horse was a pack horse, not accustomed to riders. Inevitably, I was thrown off, landing face-first. The fall left me with a broken nose, lost teeth, and a severe concussion. From that traumatic day onward, I vowed to keep my distance from horses.

Life, as it does, threw more challenges and traumas my way. I explored numerous alternative and conventional therapies, seeking healing and mastery over my own struggles. Yet, it wasn't until my first Equine-Facilitated Learning (EFL) session that I found what I was searching for.

In 2016, I attended my first EFW session, and the impact was life-changing. The profound shift I experienced led me to acquire my first horse just four months later. Through these sessions, I learned to calm and center myself more effectively than ever before, surpassing the skills I had honed as a holistic therapist. My fear of being close to horses vanished, and today, I am the proud owner of five magnificent horses. These incredible beings share their wisdom with both me and my clients.

These horses have taught me invaluable lessons about myself and have enabled me to witness the magic of healing in my clients. Through their presence, congruence, and the gentle power of their energy, my clients experience profound healing from trauma and grief, often without much intervention from me. The love, tranquility, and palpable energy that radiate from my horses create a unique and powerful healing environment.

I am humbled and honored to be part of this transformative journey, both for myself and for my clients.
